I used my last cradled gessobord for today's painting. I reordered weeks ago for more but they have yet to come. That means I get to go rummaging through my studio for canvases that I have forgotten about, and everything will get reorganized. Kind of like how I used leftovers of everything to make dinner tonight...it actually tasted really good. So hooray for mid Winter cleaning :)
Sometimes when I get frustrated with my paintings I take a break and just paint something fun that I know will turn out how I want it to. For me it's usually these little pear oil paintings, I love the colors I get to use and the shapes of the pears.
