My interview for the SB News Press is today, I think it might be a challenge since I'm not really great at explaining my art....which is why my posts are always so short, I don't think it needs much explanation! like today's painting, this is a tree, I liked it's shape so I painted it :)
Tomorrow will be a busy day...and today will be busy while I prepare for it. The Santa Barbara News Press is doing a story on me (yay!), and they're sending out a photographer to get some pictures before the interview. And by some, I mean a lot, they want to include photos of 24 of my paintings, this makes me nervous and excited. I'll let you know how it goes.
I didn't waste any space on this wall! There's a little more space now though, since some of those sold this weekend. My large color chart helps me remember what I have in my paint drawer, which can get pretty cluttered. That drafting table has moved with me 3 times and somehow still stands :)
I love the frames I found for my little 6x6 inch paintings, I think it really makes them pop. This mirror...
