Storm in Blue - Skyscape Oil Painting - 12x24

blue clouds daily painting fall for sale magnets october painting of rain thunderstorm oil painting

This painting reminds me of rainy days. Kind of like the one we had here yesterday. Waking up to rain is one of my favorite things, much better than the clouds we usually have that don't do anything.

My show at Corktree Cellars goes up tomorrow, I'm excited but I'm nervous too. Ever since I found out (8 days ago) I've been painting non stop... large, and non stop. Storm in Blue and Gold - Skyscape Oil Painting - 12x12

abstract clouds colorado daily painting daily painting for sale dramatic field landscape painting storm surreal thunderstorm

The thing I miss the most about Denver is definitely the summer thunderstorms. It's nice that the beach is here...but not when "May Gray" and "June Gloom" have turned into "Fogust"... I haven't heard of one for July, but that was cloudy too. Now if it was thunderstorming here I wouldn't have a complaint at all :)
