I'm enjoying working with the same subject on different painting surfaces, rough and fine canvas, panel, and linen. It's amazing what a different look some of the surfaces create.
I really like how this painting turned out. Zach said it was like he was "on a roller coaster" ....I don't know why that is, but his responses are getting more creative :)
Zach and I had a great time wine tasting in Solvang yesterday, if you ever go make sure you look for the 2 for 1 tasting coupons first! We ended up with one for every place we went, so our whole day was half off. And we even found the apple orchard :) I'm so happy about the bag full of fresh picked galas in my kitchen.
