Here's another little set of aceo watercolors. They're just so much fun to work on, AND I can paint them on my lunch break which makes my desk job a little better :) I think they would be so cute to hang in a kitchen or a breakfast nook.
I've finally gotten around to making paintings to cover up the awkward fireplace vent holes in our living room. It took me a while to think of something that I would be ok with looking at everyday. I decided on this little scene, that I painted on two 16x16 canvases that I had lying around. Here are my 6x6 versions which are on sale here
This painting wasn't all that I was hoping it would be. When I started I had a much different idea in my head, but this is what was determined to come out I suppose.
This year Christmas meant that I got to spend a relaxing week in California, but it also meant that I'd be without my oils for a while. Which seemed like such a waste since I was going to have so much free time, and usually I'm fighting for a few hours a week set aside for painting.
