This is a commissioned piece that I finished yesterday. I didn't get to actually visit the place I was supposed to paint, so I only had several photos to work from...hopefully I did an alright job.
I found this interesting tree on the Carpinteria Bluffs one morning. This was also a strange angle to paint it from, but I really like how it turned out.
Busy busy day today, but it ends with homemade apple crisp :) yum!
Zach and I had a great time wine tasting in Solvang yesterday, if you ever go make sure you look for the 2 for 1 tasting coupons first! We ended up with one for every place we went, so our whole day was half off. And we even found the apple orchard :) I'm so happy about the bag full of fresh picked galas in my kitchen.
