I wasn't sure how this one would turn out, but I really like the orange and blue colors together. I didn't pick a new years resolution, but I think I would like to be a little more daring in my painting.
I had the busiest day yesterday! I can't even believe how much I got done :) I slept SO well last night.
I chose to paint this little scene because I liked the shadows, sunset shadows are the best. And I liked the the dark telephone poles against the light colored sky.
I like painting night scenes every once in a while, I think I'll try to do more and hopefully get better at it. The extreme lights and darks are surprisingly difficult to paint in one shot.
