A little vacation was exactly what I needed! Now I'm ready to get back to work. Maybe I'll post some trip photos later, but for now here's a view of one of my new favorite seaside cliffs. I walked pretty far out in the water to get this shot, my dress was not so dry afterwards, next time I'll remember a swimsuit.
Posts this week are going to be sparse, I'm declaring myself on vacation! And even though we don't leave town until Thursday we have guests with us until then, so that counts :)
I found these very fun long panels, I think I'll do a couple of beach scenes on them next. But first I just had to paint these guys strutting on this rooftop.
I've had a lot of harbor scenes commissioned recently. Which is just fine with me! It's one of my favorite subjects to paint. And since I was hanging out on boats and what not yesterday I finally got to make use of my anchor shoes :)
