What a beautiful weekend! Could not have asked for better weather or a more wonderful time at the much anticipated Easter service this weekend. And I'm only a little burnt from helping the kiddos with their painting project afterwards :)
My favorite types of pears to paint are the ones with great angles and curves...well Trader Joes didn't have any of those, just these round fat ones. Good news is that they taste just as good :)
Studio cat stole one of my giant art erasers this morning, and he's been playing fetch with it for about an hour now. He looks pretty ridiculous carrying it around in his mouth.
I think this is my favorite of the all the tangerine still lifes I've done, maybe it's just that I love orange and blue together.
