I wanted to do at least one painting for my show that was quintessentially Santa Barbara, I think this pretty much sums it up. Turns out I could have included the Mission too (had no idea you could see it from the pier) but it was just too small and would have looked pretty awkward.
I turn in the other half of my paintings to the gallery today, there's 54 in all, crazy! I'm getting excited for the opening next week, it will be part of Santa Barbara's First Thursday festivities. November 3, 5:00-8:00 pm, hope to see some of you there! :) Click here for more information!
