I painted this from a photo I took at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, when Zach and I were there getting our marriage license. Mostly I just wanted to paint the sunlight on the bushes, it just looked fun to me.

I wish I could do a painting everyday. I've been reading some blogs of artists that do that, some are really amazing... maybe I could be amazing too if I got to work on it every day. I love this view from my window in the morning, something about how the light reflects on the building and the chair is interesting to me. One of these days I'll figure out how to actually photograph a painting, maybe...
