I'm planning to submit this painting for the Faulkner Gallery holiday show. Everything has to be priced $300 or less. I think that's a great idea! Perfect for holiday shopping. The show starts December 2nd.
I spend a few hours this morning... ok 5 hours this morning...making changes to my blog. I'm slowing learning new things. If I had known years ago that I would be working with web stuff everyday I would have definitely taken some courses in that area!
I almost gave up on this one. About 20 minutes into it I just wanted to stop, I couldn't see anything good coming from it. I'm glad I pushed through, it turned out to be one of my favorites in the series.
Last night was one of the most intense thunderstorms I've ever experienced. Even more than thunderstorms in Denver, with their tornado warnings, and hail, and flooding. Let's just say that thunder has never knocked things off my walls before...that's a new one.
