I knew I wanted to paint this scene, but it was a little bit awkward because there was a guy that kept standing on his patio in tiny underwear. That's what I get for being out so early I guess.
I liked the smaller version of this scene so much I knew I had to paint a larger one as well. Something about early morning sunlight is so invigorating, I think it's my favorite time of day.
This is the larger version of yesterday's painting. I'm not completely satisfied with it, and I even did a few touch ups on it a few hours after I finished (something I never do).
