Travel day to Denver! We're stopping in Denver and then driving to South Dakota (any tips for how to not hate car rides are welcome :) I miss Denver! so I'm happy we get to see it for at least a little while.
Here's another painting of that baby avocado, I really enjoyed the color combination so I had to have another go at it.

This was the tiniest avocado I have ever seen, it was so cute I just had to paint it. And I love the background color, teal blue and that particular shade of green is one of my favorite color combinations.
I've decided on this darling little painting of avocados for this (my first!) giveaway. It's oil on a canvas panel, 6x6 inches. And since it's flat it can be easily framed, or be displayed as is on a decorative shelf or bookshelf.

I was hoping that this weekend would be sunny and beautiful so I could get more shots of the town to paint. That was not the case, so I was stuck painting still lifes... ok I'm not really complaining... but I did want to hang out at the beach more :)
