Carpinteria Beach Campgrounds, Early Morning
Our campgrounds are super popular in Carpinteria. For good reason, who wouldn't want to camp practically on the beach with a cute little town within walking distance? It's also one of the areas I get requested to paint the most often. I don't mind going down there early in the morning to scout out locations, it always smells like bacon and kids are up early chasing each other and climbing trees, makes me want to go camping! Oil on panel, 11x14 inches Available here

Leadbetter Beach
Another nap time speed painting here. I think only having 30 minutes really helps in making quick decisions, and motivation for getting color right the first time. gouache on mixed media paper available here Also, don't miss next weeks email, I'll be announcing my black friday/cyber week (whatever on earth we're calling it these days) sale! It goes live next Tuesday, and you don't want to miss it! The last time I hosted a sale like this was 2012 I think, so these don't come around too often!
Foothill Sunset
I liked this one so much that I'm working on a larger oil version of it. I'm excited to get to use my palette knife to get those wires nice and crisp. gouache on mixed media paper available here
