  Oil on panel, 8x10 inches  Currently on display, will be up in my shop next month

I was playing with texture with this one.  I added a layer of gesso to the canvas with a palette knife before I started, just to add some interest. Then I had fun with these tropical ocean colors against the coming rain clouds.  From a super old reference shot from our honeymoon.  Oil on stretched canvas, 16x20 inches Currently being displayed, up in the shop next month.

Excited to announce that my new show goes up next week! I have so many new pieces to share, in oil and gouache (it will be my first time showing any of my gouache work in public!)  There will be an opening reception Friday, March 15th, from 5-7.  I really hope to see you there! 5049 6th Street, Carpinteria, CA 93013 The show runs from March 11- April 21, so if you can't make it to the opening there's still plenty of time to stop by, and enjoy a beer while you're at it (I recommend the Avocado Honey Ale!)...
