Another piece playing with a little added texture.  I added a thick layer of gesso to the canvas with a palette knife beforehand. I think it adds a little interest to the final piece.  Oil on canvas, 8x10 inches View in shop

What a crazy busy week! Thank you so much to everyone that came out to the opening, I had so much fun seeing you all and sharing my work with you!  My work will be up until April 21st, so there's still time to see it if you didn't get a chance.  This was my first time getting to hang my own show.  It was fun, but also a little overwhelming.  I had a LOT of work to hang! My husband is the one that's good at placement and spacing....but our daughter was struck down with the stomach flu (again!...

One of the larger pieces that I finished for the show.  A windy day at Rincon, with leftover clouds from days of rain, and so much green popping up everywhere.  Oil on canvas, 18x24 inches Currently on display, but will be up in the shop next month
