I think this was my most successful plein air beach painting, I particularly liked how the people turned out.  It was also my first experiment painting with sunglasses on! I think it really helped, they're very lightly tinted and it took just enough of the beach brightness away so I could see better.  Oil on panel, 8x10 inches, Sold

The studio tour went great! Thank you so much to everyone who came out for it, I had so much fun chatting with all of you.   Many of the new paintings I was hoarding for the tour ended up selling, but I'll be adding the ones that didn't find a home to my website soon. I'll also be adding a "studio sale" section to my site, so those that missed it this weekend have another chance.  My studio is open by appointment, and I'm happy to have visitors! So if you're ever traveling to my neck of the woods...
