The wind was picking up as I started painting this, so it was a race to finish before it got too bad.  Oil on panel, 6x8 inches, sold   

I think this was my most successful plein air beach painting, I particularly liked how the people turned out.  It was also my first experiment painting with sunglasses on! I think it really helped, they're very lightly tinted and it took just enough of the beach brightness away so I could see better.  Oil on panel, 8x10 inches, Sold
