This is one of my favorite birds, I call him Kevin. I would have loved if the sun was out when I found him, but the sky was determined to be cloudy that day.
I took the whole weekend off from painting since it was my husbands birthday. The sun came out just in time for it, it was a wonderful weekend! And there was a much larger turnout for the reception at the Red Door on Saturday than I expected. I sold a few pieces, hopefully a few more will sell before the show ends this month.
I'm afraid I'm a little behind with my daily paintings now, since I spent two whole days working on this larger piece. I think I need at least a few larger pieces for this upcoming show, so it was worth it.
There is another reception at the Red Door Gallery tomorrow from 4:00-6:00, please stop by if you're in town! And ask me questions! I need practice in answering them :)
