Just got back from a weekend in Denver. Saw some great thunderstorms, played Catan, saw how candy canes are made, ate way too much food, celebrated big birthdays, and located a car battery. Now back to work!
This is another piece from that rainy day in Switzerland. We were on a pretty miserable hike that day, my feet were soaked, and my throat hurt, but I got a lot of good painting material from...
We took the cogwheel train up Mt. Pilatus while we were in Lucerne. This little church building was up on it's own cliff, I have no idea how people get to it. But there must have been a way because there were people walking around outside. I managed to snag this shot while we were in the cable car on the way back down.
This is a big one for me. I was in one of those moods where I wanted to paint something big, and just throw paint around for a while. These big cloud paintings are always good for that.
