At Sunset - Carpinteria Oil Painting - 6x6

california daily painting carpinteria oil painting palm trees sharon shock sunset

I've painted these trees by our  house before, but never at this time of day.  I love their shape and the colors in the background.  I really like how there was still a hint of blue in the sky, while the rest of the sunset was so orange and bright.

The Grain Elevator, Sunset - Daily Oil Painting - 6x6

daily painting for sale farm grain elevator harvest sharon schock south dakota sunset

I don't really know what this building does, Zach said it was a grain elevator...so I tried typing that into google... the forth suggestion from google was "grain elevator explosions" so that made it a little more interesting. What I do know is that I loved the sunset reflection on it's metal sides.
