Carpinteria Studio Tour Announcement!
Good news everyone!
The Carpinteria Valley Artists Studio Tour is coming up and I'm a part of it! As always the tour is Mother's Day weekend (May 10&11) and this new mom would be so excited if you stopped by for a peek in my studio.
Let's see, there will be snacks, a free gift, a cute baby, and oh yeah paintings for sale at studio prices! I'll be participating both days from 10-5, hope to see you...

Lemons are a favorite subject of mine. I love how simple they are, I love yellow, and I love to use them afterwards...win win win.

We've been having absolutely gorgeous clouds lately, I love it!
My favorite part of this one is the light yellow/orange color shining through and against the clouds.

When The Rains Came - 8x10
Hooray! It rained! I was ridiculously excited about this storm. I knew I would get some fun cloudy beach shots, and my weather app kept teasing me with thunderstorm warnings.

Avocado Halves - 6x6
We planted avocado trees in our backyard (smart!)....but they have yet to produce an avocado that ripens instead of just shrivels and rots (sad). So, this one's from the farmers market.
