We've been working the last month or so on moving my studio. New spaces always take some getting used to. This is one of the last pieces painted in my old place.

I cut open this cantaloupe and thought "what a great orange color, I can't believe I've never painted one of these" so I gave it a go.

So we finally got my new computer up and running (why is that such a painful process??) and I'm trying to calibrate the monitor and it's making me question everything! Showing my paintings accurately via the web is complicated because they'll look a little (or a LOT) different for everyone, yikes, it just makes me sad! I guess this is just the type of thing that will always look better in person.
