Jacaranda
When I painted this I had no idea that the next day they would be tearing this tree down, the street looks so empty now! Oil on panel, 6x8 inches Available here
In case you missed it...
Here's what was released last week, also under $100
Big Sur Coastline
Just got back from an AMAZING trip to Maine. It was a 5 day workshop led by the very talented Tim Horn (https://timhornart.com). I'll be posting more about it in next weeks email update, once I get all my photos sorted. Until then I have some new gouache work to share :) For this one I revisited some of my reference photos from our trip to Big Sur, I painted this in oil already but wanted to try my hand at it in gouache as well. Gouache on mixed media paper, available here
Mammoth Mountain Sky
Painted from a reference photo from our trip to Mammoth. I loved how everything in front is in shadow but you can still see some sunlight on the mountains. Painting clouds in gouache is a challenge, but I was happy with how these turned out. Gouache on mixed media paper, 5x7 inches, available here
California Eucalyptus
Cloudy days aren't my favorite for painting, but even with the cloud cover the textures on these trees still looked spectacular. Gouache on mixed media paper, available here
