Update, and a workshop!

I feel I've been a little MIA the past couple weeks.  There's been a lot going on!  My daughter finished kindergarten (cue all the tears!) and celebrated her 6th birthday.  We took a very last minute family trip to San Diego, visiting Legoland and SeaWorld. We got back on Friday and then had a very full weekend.  So today was the first day in almost 2 weeks that I got to paint...but it feels like so much longer than that!

I have a couple of exciting events coming up! The first is being a part of a group show in New York.  I'll have 4 paintings on display at Eleventh Street Arts, in their show "Escape: Celebrating the Great Outdoors".  So if you're local to that area please check it out! There are some amazing artists involved.  There will be an online catalogue posted soon.

The second exciting thing is that a date has been set for my upcoming workshop.  Saturday, November 2, 10:00-2:00, I'll be teaching a workshop all about alla prima oil painting at the Carpinteria Arts Center.  If you're interested in signing up send me an email and I'll make sure you're alerted when enrollment begins.
