A little still life for today. I was trying out a slightly different process while I painted this one. I usually lay down a sort of brownish ground and then pencil in my composition on top, well I ran out of lead in my pencil, and since we're still in temp housing there were no other pencils around. So this one was marked in with paint...that...
Another bright still life for today, my husband wanted to call it "Sprite" ...but it lacks the carbonation, he also felt really sad for the lime because it doesn't get to hang out in the bowl.
Today I decided to paint these two flirty jalapenos. And this time I remembered to wear gloves and not touch my eyes when I diced them up to make guacamole!
